My Story

I am a dedicated professional in the field of vocational rehabilitation, committed to helping people recover from psychological and physical injuries / disabilities and reintegrate into life and work. I am a full member of Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) and have completed my Bachelor's Degree in Arts, majoring in Psychology. My journey is fuelled by a genuine passion for effecting positive change in the lives of those facing psychological and physical injuries / disabilities.

Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of experience working with individuals grappling with a spectrum of psychological and physical injuries / disabilities, including anxiety disorders, major depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). My approach is distinguished by a commitment to a holistic rehabilitation strategy, addressing not only the professional aspects but also the personal and emotional dimensions of engaging in work.

I pride myself on incorporating innovative interventions into my practice, utilising a diverse range of techniques such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, vocational assessments, and motivational interviewing practices. This commitment to staying at the forefront of the field ensures that I provide clients with the best tools to navigate the challenges of the workforce confidently.

Beyond individual counselling, I actively engage with the community, participating in workshops, seminars, and outreach programs aimed at destigmatising mental health issues in the workplace. My goal is to contribute to the creation of a supportive environment that fosters inclusivity and understanding.

I truly believe with the right support and guidance, every individual can engage in meaningful and purposeful work.

I also work as a Leadership and Wellbeing consultant, where I work to empower emerging leaders to embrace transformative strategies that foster growth, innovation, and resilience. Through tailored coaching sessions and workshops, I works to equip leaders with the tools to build high-performing teams with a focus on employee happiness and wellbeing.

When I am not working, you will find me out on a hike with Theo and Soph (our daughter), exploring our beautiful national parks or playing country music loudly in my kitchen whilst cooking up a storm.
